SalesVu iPad POS Releases Free QuickBooks Integration

To help small and medium-sized businesses better integrate sales processing and bookkeeping, SalesVu has created an application designed to be used with iPods and iPads. The module is a free link between the company’s mobile Point of Sale (POS) solution and QuickBooks accounting software, and is especially appropriate for retail, restaurant/bar and professional services industries. 

 SalesVu CEO Pascal Nicolas spoke exclusively with PointofSale.com and explained the rationale behind creating the software: “Our goal is to become a complete ERP solution for small and medium businesses.  Because the data is managed remotely from the customer’s SalesVu.com cloud account, business owners can view reports and charts in real time, and monitor multiple locations, employees and categories of products or services. Users can update prices and inventory online and beam the changes to the iPhone and iPad POS devices within their companies. The software was created to save time and reduce errors that might normally occur with manual entry of sales transactions.

 “SalesVu’s iPhone and iPad POS app can be used anywhere in the world by retail, restaurant and service businesses,” Nicolas said. “Our newly-launched QuickBooks integration is already saving business users countless hours of manual bookkeeping.”

Other professional services are also using SalesVu’s POS software to track customers’ history and payments, configure and send invoices from a smartphone, automate billing for clients who are on a monthly subscription plan and track sales over time by type of service or by employee.

Restaurants and bars are using it because, as one bar owner stated, “We can open a tab from one iPad POS, edit it on another, and collect payment on a third.
