Long Beach, CA, Oct. 25, 2012 – Today Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added point-of-sale (pos) solutions, announced that Groupon has selected Epson receipt printers for its recently launched Breadcrumb® POS system, an easy-to-use, powerful and affordable solution that runs on iPads for restaurants, bars and cafes. Epson’s most popular food service receipt printers, both the TM-U220 and the TM-T88V, will be available to businesses that order Breadcrumb.

“We selected Epson printers for their workhorse reliability and because they are by far the hospitality industry’s preferred brand,” commented  Seth Harris, General Manager, Breadcrumb POS. “In addition, Epson has the global support and wide array of products we need to meet the needs of our merchants.”

“We’re pleased Groupon will include our benchmark hospitality printers with Breadcrumb,” commented Gregg Brunnick, Director of Marketing, Epson Business Systems Division. “Since Epson holds such a large market share in food service, we’re a natural fit. We’re looking forward to working with Groupon to enhance their offerings in local businesses.”

The Breadcrumb bundle will be sold by Groupon’s national sales force, with Denali Advance Integration (http://www.denaliai.com/) as the integrator and BlueStar as the distributor.
