Cellit has launched the iWidgit POS mobile coupon application intended for retailers to track coupons and redemptions. The application focuses on the needs of small businesses that may not have a standard point-of-sale and those seeking a mobile solution to create coupons.
It allows customers to redeem them directly from their iPhone or iPod Touch. This solution helps retailers generate coupon codes and then sends the coupons to the phones of the customers. The Cellit iWidgit is available for free from the Apple App store, but customers are required to have a Cellit Studio or CouponZap account. The program’s iWidgit joins the ranks of the iPhone applications many companies catering to retailers that want to expand their mobile marketing solutions.
