With the recent point-of-sale partnership between Bluestar retail technology distributor and Star Micronics hardware, a new POS bundle is available to retailers. The software and hardware is compatible with Intuit Quickbooks, which will make the upgrade for retailers who are familiar with Quickbooks a much smoother transition. The solution gives retailers the resources to improve their inventory management, sales reports, and trends in sales by store. According to the Bluestar site, the hardware in the bundle includes a printer, card reader, scanner and cash drawer. Star Micronics is also offering free overnight printer exchange if there are any problems within the first year of purchasing the bundle.
