12th Annual IRCE To Feature Brightest Minds & Newest Trends in Ecommerce
CHICAGO (May 10, 2016) – – IRCE, the world’s largest and most well-known ecommerce conference and exhibition, will open its 12th annual year with a jam-packed lineup of some of the biggest and brightest minds in ecommerce, as well as the most cutting-edge products and services at Chicago’s McCormick Place West Convention Center, June 7-10, 2016.
IRCE provides an estimated 10,000 conference-goers with access to more than 220 expert speakers, 130 conference sessions, an exhibit hall filled with the latest and greatest solution providers, and a series of networking events, making it the must-attend event of the year for professionals seeking the very latest strategies and solutions in the world of ecommerce. IRCE is the flagship event for the ever-changing ecommerce industry, with attendees coming from over 40 countries around the globe, representing a range of industries in a variety of management levels, including representatives from up-and-coming startups to long-established retail chains.
This year’s IRCE will feature its most aggressive agenda to date with presentations from executives representing some of the world’s most well-known companies and brands, including Amazon, CVS Health, LL Bean, Swiss Watch International, Coca-Cola, Target, Sprint, Adidas Group, Facebook and GoPro. And, a series of new educational workshop tracks including “Managing Technology”, “Marketing New Frontiers”, and “Google and You”, will debut at the 2016 edition of IRCE.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS WHO ARE LEADING THE WAY IN ECOMMERCE
IRCE has once again attracted a roster of the brightest minds and ecommerce trailblazers throughout its General Sessions during the conference. Keynote presentations will be showcased on Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9. On Wednesday, keynote speaker Greg Bowen, vice president, Dell Commerce Services, will start the morning off with his discussion, “180 Countries, 34 Languages, One Platform: How the New, Global Dell.com Keeps Customers Happy Around the World,” from 8:30 am – 9 am. He will be followed by special guest speaker John Yembrick, manager, social media for NASA, who will discuss “A Social Strategy tailored for all Humanity” from 9 am – 9:30 am.
On Thursday, June 9, Mark Friedman, president of ecommerce for Steve Madden, will serve as keynote presenter as he explores, “How Steve Madden Keeps it Edgy at Every Touchpoint, Digital and Beyond,” from 8:30 am – 9:30 am. Friedman will followed by featured speaker Marc Lobliner, chief marketing officer for Tigerfitness.com, who will discuss “Stamina – Not Shortcuts – Gets Your Social Endorphins Pumping,” from 9 am – 9:30 am.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND TRACKS FOR EVERY INTEREST
IRCE is known for its second-to-none educational programming and workshops, and the 2016 edition of the conference is no exception. Following the keynote presentations during the General Sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, five concurrent breakout tracks will continue for the remainder of each day, and will feature more than 220 speakers from retail organizations, consumer services providers, technology firms, and more. Conference-goers will have the opportunity to choose from multiple tracks, including one geared to CEO’s and top executives, one for small retailers, and marketing “how to’s” and “must haves”.
On Wednesday educational workshop breakout tracks will include Strategies for Top Executives, Retail Chains, Marketing Must-Haves, Small but Mighty, and Fulfillment, Customer Service and Operations
Tracks on Thursday will include Design and Merchandising, Managing Technology, Social Commerce and Marketing, Marketing New Frontiers, and Video in E-Retail.
Additionally, all-day, pre-and-post conference workshops will be offered on Tuesday, June 7, and Friday, June 10. Three concurrent all-day workshops on Tuesday will include: ECommerce Technology, Amazon and Me, and B2B. On Friday, three concurrent daylong workshops in Social Workshop, Google and You, and Mobile Commerce, will be offered.

Nearly 600 exhibitors will take up more than 250,000 square feet of the McCormick Place West Convention Center, making it the largest display of services and technology in the ecommerce industry. The show will kick off with a Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening, followed by a cocktail reception on Wednesdayevening. In addition, attendees will enjoy a number of networking parties, and events throughout the city.

The MasterCard Backyard Lounge launched in 2015 and quickly became a favorite area of IRCE conference-goers. Offering the perfect place to relax and play some fun old school backyard games, the lounge will be equipped with air hockey, Bags, giant Jenga, video games and a DJ during the Welcome and Cocktail receptions.
A Massage Station will offer complimentary massages to attendees in a relaxed atmosphere. The Refresh Lounge with complimentary beverages and a water bar, will keep attendees hydrated as the browse the expansive hall. The Recharge Lounge is a place to take a break to relax and recharge devices. New for 2016 the Headshot Lounge offers complimentary professional headshots for attendees.
