Retail and point of sale professionals, hardware and software vendors are thinking about summer, and some of that thought is focused on the annual RSPA RetailNOW show, which is being held August 2-5, 2015 in Kissimmee, Florida. The four-day conference, trade show and networking event is being billed as the retail event "where the industry meets" by the Retail Solutions Providers Association. Each year, key personnel from leading brands in the retail space gather to become educated on new business trends, emerging technologies and best business practices, with a heavy focus on POS and EMV-compliant technologies.
Registration opened in early April, and the RSPA is expecting over 2,000 attendees to descend on the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. Attendees will experience educational sessions, networking receptions, and access to RSPA resources and industry partners.
The 2015 version of the RetailNOW show will kick off with the RSPA Scholarship Golf Tournament and wrap up with a family-friendly closing part on Wednesday afternoon. Keynote speakers include Michael Gerber, best-selling author of the consummate entrepreneur’s handbook The E-Myth Revisited on Monday morning. Ken Schmidt, former director of communications for Harley-Davidson and branding visionary, will speak on Tuesday.
With 170+ booths available, the show is expected to draw retail POS vendors from every corner of POS and EMV technology and support. Event sponsors include EPSON, NCC, Sterling Payment Technologies, Worldpay, and FuturePOS.
There will be over 30 general and breakout sessions where attendees can obtain valuable insight into five topic areas:
- Security in the Era of Insecurity
- Building Successful Businesses
- Practical Technologies
- Hot Topics in Technology
- POS New Era
The RSPA is encouraging potential attendees to register early this year, as it expects to sell out many of the educational sessions. To register for the 2015 RetailNOW event, visit the RSPA website.
