Unsurprisingly, point-of-sale devices continue to expand their presence everywhere.  We've already seen POS built into refrigerators, washing machines and other household machines.  We've got POS capability in our smartphones and now, we've got voice activated pizza delivery.  Can't wait to see what's next!

The Pizza Hut skill differs from any pizza brand in the space by providing Alexa users with the convenience of ordering not only your favorites and past orders, but also directly from a menu of the most popular items from Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut has increasingly added new ways to order over the last year. This summer, Pizza Hut was the first brand to announce the ability to order via "chatbot" on Facebook and Twitter messenger. Consumers can either repeat previous or favorite orders, as well as pick a pizza from a list of popular pizzas. They also announced earlier this year it's new "Visible Promise Time," which allows customers to see an estimated timeline of when their food will be ready prior to actually placing the order. The visible promise time works both for delivery and carryout, making it easier for customers to game plan around a timeframe.
