MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 12, 2017) – BTM Global, a premier provider of retail system integration and development services, announced that Scheels, a regional sporting goods retailer, is live with its Service Shop Integration. A joint development effort between Scheels and BTM Global, the project enables associates to complete transactions faster and provides a smoother, more efficient experience for customers.
Scheels’ in-house application now interfaces with the Oracle Retail Point-of-Service system (ORPOS). Associates can perform just one scan to retrieve a suspended transaction for the total invoice, enabling Scheels to process transactions more efficiently and accurately, as well as track and maintain accountability between the in-house system and ORPOS. The project is live across all of Scheels’ 26 stores in 11 states.
“We were pleased to work with BTM Global on another critical project that improves the experience and efficiency of our stores,” said Byron Snider, Scheels information services leader. “This collaboration is a testament to the trust and successes we’ve developed over the years.”
“We are proud of our long history with Scheels and value our partnership with the entire team,” said Tom Schoen, president of BTM Global. “With its commitment to superior experiences for its customers and associates, Scheels will continue to be a retail success story.”
BTM Global is a long-time Gold-level member in the Oracle Partner Network Specialized program.
