Affordable kiosk technology to be released in Q3 of 2017
PHOENIX (Aug. 2, 2017) – Independent restaurants now have access to a fully integrated kiosk ordering system they can afford through MobileBytes, a leading provider of point of sale (POS) for iPad.
The Self-Order Kiosk app can be loaded onto stationary iPads anywhere in the restaurant. The deceptively simple kiosk software prompts customers through the ordering process and accepts credit card payments for orders.
“At the end of the day, we’re bringing powerful technology to restaurants of any size, and helping them improve their bottom lines,” says Dan Calderone, MobileBytes CEO. “You don’t have to be a large, national chain to be able to afford the benefits of kiosk ordering.”
Completed orders are processed directly through the restaurant’s POS system, so kitchen staff can begin preparing the order immediately, saving time for both the customer and the restaurant.
Customers using Self-Order Kiosk can bypass counter lines for faster, more accurate order entry. The system is environmentally friendly and paperless with receipts available through email or text message, further improving guest experience and reducing restaurant paper cost.
Resellers will have the opportunity to preview and test a demo version of the Self-Order Kiosk during the Retail Solutions Providers Association RetailNOW 2017 trade show. The final product is expected to be available for merchant use during the third quarter of 2017.
The introduction of MobileBytes’ Self-Order Kiosk is a direct result of conversations with resellers and merchants who are looking for an easy-to-use, cost effective kiosk solution.
Pricing will be announced in advance of the final product release. MobileBytes authorized resellers will provide hardware and installation, as well as ongoing support.
