Barcode Lego Thief Nailed at Target
An SAP executive has been accused of changing barcodes on certain Lego products he purchased in order to lower the prices. ( This is also known as theft. ) According to an article in the Oakland Tribune. The executive was found to have sold over 2,000 Lego products on eBay in the last year.
According to the article “Police in Mountain View, where many of the alleged thefts occurred at the Target store on Showers Drive, said that after obtaining a search warrant, they discovered a huge cache of Legos at Langenbach’s large, $2 million San Carlos home, and eight Ziploc baggies containing dozens of bar code stickers in his car.”
We applaud Target personnel for being alert and catching this fellow.
