Leading Retail Technology Executives Prepare For Two Days of Comprehensive Learning and Networking


Retailers serving a wide variety of both soft and hard goods, such as apparel, sporting goods, footwear, gift and specialty items will descended upon Atlanta, Georgia, on May 7 to trade industry knowledge and better their expertise of the integrated retail management platforms developed by Celerant Technology.  Technology executives from retailers like Cato Corporation, Chinese Laundry, and Farmer’s Furniture were among the over 100 attendees learning and sharing with each other at the event.   


Celebrating its tenth year of bringing leading mid-sized retailers together, the 2014 Annual Client Conference returned to Atlanta, where it launched for the first time in 2004. “Hosting the conference in Atlanta is a homecoming for us; we hosted our first conference in the city ten years ago and it is also home to Celerant’s largest satellite office. The conference kicked off with a retail vendor sponsored cocktail party, then launched into high gear on May 8 with an agenda of over 25 in-depth breakout sessions on topics like omnichannel fulfillment, mobile commerce, and advanced distribution techniques.


Conference attendees learn tips and best practices in small group settings directly from the Celerant professionals that designed and developed the software. Education tracks are built around specific areas of the software’s functionality and different retailing verticals, but attendees are able to attend any sessions of their choice. Celerant’s executive team will also be on hand to meet with clients in one-on-one settings to discuss the future of retail technology.
