Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Renews ArrowStream’s OnDemand Software
CHICAGO, IL–(Marketwired – Apr 27, 2016) – ArrowStream, Inc. (“ArrowStream”), a Software-as-a-Service provider for supply chain organizations, announced today that Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (“ENRGI”), the nation’s largest operator of bagel bakeries and a leader in the fast casual restaurant industry, will renew its contract with ArrowStream for its OnDemand software, which allows ENRGI to better manage food spend and inventory across its brand portfolio of Einstein Bros. ® Bagels, Noah’s New York Bagels® and Manhattan Bagel®.
Prior to partnering with ArrowStream in 2009, the supply chain team at ENRGI was challenged with manual processes and limited visibility into supply chain operations. OnDemand’s new tile-based interface provides ENRGI with the ability to easily manage purchasing for multiple brands and identifies opportunities to bring more spend under contract. These features, along with price auditing within OnDemand, ultimately reduce food and beverage costs for the organization. The supply chain team at ENRGI will also continue to benefit from inventory visibility across its network, preventing stock-outs and obsolescence and ensuring customers receive high-quality products on time. Additionally, purchase order tracking in OnDemand helps ENRGI manage its internal logistics program by uncovering opportunities within its network to drive inbound freight savings.
“Einstein Noah Restaurant Group has been in a strategic relationship with ArrowStream for seven years now and their new tile-based interface is indicative of their year-over-year innovation. Through its ‘at-your-fingertips’ analytics, OnDemand allows us to ensure our customers are always getting the best product, on-time and at the right price,” said Curt Bourg, VP of Supply Chain at ENRGI. “ArrowStream continues to assist us in rethinking our supply chain by improving our operational and technology efficiencies. They are experts in this industry and go beyond just being a technology company, which enables us to tap into their knowledge and make better business decisions every day.”
OnDemand empowers companies like ENRGI to uncover the biggest opportunities and proactively address the most pressing threats in their supply chains by centralizing inventory, contract, and quality assurance information. By utilizing this software, supply chain teams are able to act upon opportunities, take immediate action toward challenges, and understand the root cause of problems. OnDemand’s tile-based interface eliminates the need for traditional data mining by bringing these matters to the forefront and provides the increased flexibility required to keep up with the changing nature of the supply chain.
“OnDemand is built to overcome many of the common foodservice supply chain challenges our customers are faced with every day,” said Jeff Dorr, Chief Customer Officer at ArrowStream. “With more than 45 operators using this solution, we have a phenomenal base of customers who help us with ideation and best practices that we continue to incorporate into our technology. We are proud of the success that Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. has achieved with our software and look forward to continue delivering great value to them in the future.”
