Forbes features mobile ordering for restaurants
An article over at Forbes piqued our interest this morning, and we thought we’d share it with our readers. It looks like folks outside the Point of Sale industry are catching on to the growing trend toward mobile and online ordering for restaurants. A recent feature here at PointofSale.com showcased the way Carmel Cafe, a Florida-based chain, uses tableside iPads to streamline the customer experience. Over at Forbes today, Gene Marks recounts a recent experience at a Boston Pizzeria Uno in which he discovered that ordering by wireless device is becoming increasingly mainstream. In his article, “3 Little Technologies You Never Heard Of…But May Have a Big Impact on Your Business,” Marks details his experience with tableside ordering and explores other lesser-known technologies that are catching on.
