Hyperwallet Expands Developer Toolkit with New API Functionality and SDKs
Added development features and functionality signal Hyperwallet’s long-term commitment to back-end integration.
San Francisco, California – Hyperwallet, a top global payouts provider to the new economy, revealed today that its REST payout API have moved from public beta to full public availability. The announcement coincides with the launch of new Hyperwallet developer features, including software development kits (SDKs), additional API calls, and a bolstered self-serve developer portal. Hyperwallet has indicated that these new tools are intended to further expand API functionality and streamline the development process.
Hyperwallet’s SDKs will be released in the Java, PHP, and Node programming languages, allowing for maximum compatibility and a streamlined API integration process. Hyperwallet has also enabled account balance and transaction API calls, providing clients with more robust payout functionality. The expansion of the developer portal includes additional step-by-step tutorials and extended documentation. Hyperwallet also revealed that it is implementing a webhook framework and prepaid card API calls for release this fall, indicating that these latest features will be the first in a long line of updates to the platform’s developer tools.
“Whether we’re talking about ecommerce, gig platforms, or digital marketplaces, today there is a tremendous demand for flexible and unobtrusive integration options,” said Brent Warrington, Hyperwallet’s CEO. “Going forward, Hyperwallet will continue to expand our developer tools to facilitate more seamless and functional payout integrations for our clients.”
Hyperwallet will be showcasing its new developer toolkit at FinDEVr Silicon Valley in October later this year. CMS Wire named Hyperwallet one of their Six Young Companies to Watch following the fourth annual DeveloperWeek last February.
