New Retail Touchscreens Available from Planar Systems
Two new point-of-sale products from Planar Systems have been announced in their next release of retail solutions
| The PA1575R touchscreen system and PT2275SW touchscreen LCD are equipped with several advanced features such as operating with Microsoft Windows® XP or WePOS as well as “a fanless 1 GHz Intel® Celeron processor, 1 GB memory, and a resistive touch screen.” Due to its resistive nature, the screen can respond to the touch of several different tools from a gloved hand to a credit card, making them ideal for various retail environments. The screens are created with pure glass and equipped with surface acoustic wave technology for accuracy when they are being used.
