NRF Expo 2012 Showcases Mobile Printers
The National Retail Federation (NRF) Expo is called Retail’s BIG Show for good reason. Running January 16 and 17, 2012, the Show features 420 exhibitors in two pavilions of the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Brother’s focus is on their RuggedJet 4” mobile printers, designed to be fast, tough, and more versatile than the competition. They’ll be showing printers with the ability to print both receipts and labels designed for use in public safety, field service, route accounting, manufacturing and warehouse markets and more. See them at the NRF Expo in Booth 2441.
Star Micronics, Booth 2319, is featuring POS printing solutions through Android and iOS drivers for all of its POS printers. The drivers allow end-users to utilize Star Micronics printers in tandem with Apple iPad™, iPod Touch®, iPhone® and Android devices to generate receipts and perform related functions in retail and restaurant environments. Epson is “going green” with a variety of their POS printers in Booth 1903 at the NRF Expo. Their ENERGY STAR® qualified POS printers support green retail initiatives by reducing paper and energy usage, resulting in significant cost savings over the printer lifecycle. Visitors to their booth will see the TM-H6000IV multifunction printer (pictured right), which features MICR accuracy and check processing speed, and the TM-T88V thermal printer with fast printing speeds up to 300mm/second, and options to reduce paper usage up to 30 percent.
Datamax-O’Neil is highlighting a few of their 70 different printers, with a focus on thermal portable and stationary printers for retail labeling, barcoding, ticketing and receipt printing applications. See them and discuss your specific retail POS needs in Booth 3021 at NRF.
Honeywell Scanning & Mobility will be exhibiting in Booth 1451, showing high-performance image- and laser-based data collection hardware including rugged mobile computers and bar code scanners. Visitors to the booth at the NRF Expo can learn more about in-store applications, scanning technologies, price verification systems and scanners.
