Quetzal POS Certifies Wide Range of Epson Receipt Printers for its iPad POS
Long Beach, Calif., – May 3, 2017 – Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, today announced that Quetzal POS, provider of a cloud-based iPad® POS for specialty retailers, has certified the Epson TM-m30, TM-m10, TM-L90 Plus and TM-T88V receipt printers for its completely redesigned iPad POS system (also announced today). The company also certified Epson’s latest product addition, the OmniLink® TM-T88VI intelligent printer, which offers a rich feature set for mobile POS and cloud services. The joint solutions are available now through Quetzal POS.
”Quetzal POS provides a powerful and easy to use specialty retail solution with rich POS functionality,” said Tom Kettell, director, Commercial Channel Sales at Epson. “Quetzal POS understands the needs of boutique retailers and offers a feature set uniquely designed for their specialty businesses. And the added ability to perform 100% of all functionality offline is crucial, as these retailers cannot afford any downtime. We are very proud to be partnering with such an innovative company.”
The new Quetzal POS interface integrated with Epson receipt printers allows customers to completely modify the text and add their logos to all receipts (gift and standard sales receipts). The setup is as simple as touching one button on the printer to have the IP address print out and entering that into the Quetzal POS system.
“Epson is the largest printer manufacturer in the world and the most prominent brand in the retail technology space,” said Joshua Stanphill, VP of Sales & Marketing at Quetzal POS. “They are also the only printer company that has a line focused on mobile devices, so it was an easy choice for us. The printer is the heart of the peripherals so it’s crucial that it’s reliable, compact and beautiful. The aesthetically designed TM-m10 and TM-m30 printers with dual casing in a compact size, saving valuable counter space, are particularly beneficial for specialty retailers.”
