Red Wing Selects BTM Global for Custom Development and Oracle Retail Implementation

MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 1, 2016) – BTM Global, a premier system integration and development services provider for retail solutions and a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced that it has been selected by Red Wing Shoe Company to implement the Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service software. Red Wing Shoe Company is a Minnesota-based global leader in the manufacturing and sale of premium footwear brands. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries.
Red Wing Shoe Company sought an expert partner to deliver timely customizations for the retailers’ varied needs, such as business-to-business sale environments. BTM Global will provide Red Wing Shoe Company with custom development of the Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service software, code stabilization, and additional enhancements to smoothly implement the software in its hundreds of stores. BTM Global’s work will primarily support and improve the ease of use and productivity of stores’ point of sale (POS) systems. In addition, BTM Global will help ensure that POS systems are compliant with EMV credit card regulations and that data is handled according to the highest security standards to protect customers.
