TableSafe to Exhibit Cutting-Edge Pay-at-the-Table Technology at RSPA’s #RetailNOW 2017

TableSafe, maker of the first purpose-built pay-at-the-table platform for full-service restaurants and the broader hospitality industry, will be demonstrating the RAIL payment platform live from the RetailNOW 2017 show floor.

The low-profile RAIL is an easy to use device housed inside a patented billfold that replicates the traditional folio that full-service restaurants use to deliver the guest’s check. This payment agnostic platform enables the restaurant guest to securely self-pay with their credit card or Samsung Pay and soon will accept chip-enabled cards and offer the ability to pay with the leading mobile apps, including Apple Pay® and Android Pay®.  It also allows the guest to auto-calculate the tip, split the bill multiple ways, pay-by-item, and receive email receipts.  Once the payment process is complete, the RAIL allows the guest to provide real-time feedback on their dining experience, enabling the restaurant to gain valuable insights on their food and service.

For years, the full-service restaurant industry has been a hotbed for fraudulent payment activity – from card identity theft to instances of “friendly fraud”.  TableSafe is making payment security an attractive investment for full-service restaurant operators by wrapping other operational enhancements around its payment solution – such as improved staff efficiency and higher customer satisfaction.  TableSafe has developed a secure, payment agnostic and profitable solution for full-service restaurants that compliments their hospitality rather than disrupts it at point of payment and allows the dining guest to control the entire payment process.
